Movies

I was watching a movie with my friends and one of my friends turned to me and said, "Kids in the future are so lucky. They're going to have so many good classic movies." I doubt that very much.

People say 1939 was the best year for movies. The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind both came out that year. But kids these days don't appreciate those movies because they're boring. Values and culture change as time progresses and sometimes we think that what's good now always was and always will be good. Another decade rolls along and we all look back and laugh at our trivial obsessions without realizing how ridiculously we're dressing, or how terrible our movies are.

And just so I can say "I told you so!", two movies that I think future generations will not understand are 300 and Alice in Wonderland.
